Africa Water Aid: Providing Life-Sustaining Water and Hope to the Sanag Region

In the arid and semi-arid Sanag region of North Eastern Somalia, the people have been facing a constant threat of drought for decades. Poor healthcare, loss of livestock, and diminished crop yields are just a few of the challenges they face. Africa Water Aid is a charitable organization that is working to provide life-sustaining water and hope to the people of this region. Our goal is to prospect for potable water and provide the necessary infrastructure to access it, initially in the town of Awsane.

We will hire an independent operator to look for water in the closest village to Awsane. Volunteers from the village will be trained to assist in these operations and will eventually be given their own equipment to continue the search for water. This model will be replicated throughout the region in order to alleviate the suffering of the people there.

Africa Water Aid is a registered charity in England and Wales (number 1199959). We rely on donations from individuals and organizations to fund our work. Your donation will help us to provide life-sustaining water to the people of the Sanag region and give them hope for a better future.
